Google just changed the url of its registrar service to their own brandTLD and left the .com behind

Today Google announced that they changed the url for their registrar service from domain.google.com to domains.google. Of course, they let the former redirect to the new one.

The announcement was made on the twitter channel of Google Small Biz (@googlesmallbiz):

Google Domains is moving to http://domains.google ! Check it out & learn how to get your own #smallbiz domain name.

Another obvious domain "google.domains" is owned by Google but currently not used.

We updated all of our links to reflect this change.
